Spent 2 days, the place is incredible, with great Yoga deck, quiet atmosphere and very nice Gurian breeze on the terrace close to Ureki, but car is needed to access the beach
Food was delicious, vegetarian with lots of creativity, also very good Georgian wine

It's is a perfect escape from the city chaos. It's quiet and surrounded by lots of trees and plants. The hosts are super friendly, they ensure you enjoy your stay there, and the rooms are cozy and have everything you need. You can see the sea from the balcony, which makes it even more relaxing. The homemade meals are delicious. It's a great place for a peaceful getaway. Highly recommended!

Where is Shromantic Garden located and how do I get there?
We’re in the peaceful village of Shroma, in Guria, western Georgia — between the Black Sea and Bakhmaro mountains. You can reach us by car, taxi, or marshrutka from Ozurgeti, Batumi, or Tbilisi. We’re about 20 minutes from the coast, 15 minutes from Ureki train statrion and 1.5 hours from Batumi.
What is the best time of year to visit?
Shromantic Garden is beautiful year-round, depending on your mood. Summer is perfect for beach days and sea breezes. Spring and autumn are ideal for nature walks, flower-filled gardens, and slow mornings on the terrace. Even in winter, Guria stays mild — with occasional sunny days reaching +20°C. It’s the perfect time to wrap yourself in a scarf, sip hot tea or local wine, and enjoy a good book by the window.
What types of rooms do you offer?
We have several unique rooms, each with private bathrooms, large terraces with garden, sea or mountain views, and natural, relaxed decor.
Starting July 2025, we’re excited to launch our Forest Cabin — a cozy, off-grid accommodation nestled deeper in nature. While it doesn’t have a private bathroom, guests have access to a shared bathroom in the main house. The cabin is perfect for those who want a peaceful, remote stay surrounded by birdsong and forest views — and just a short walk from the guesthouse.
Is there Wi-Fi available?
Yes, we offer free Wi-Fi in the rooms and common areas, though we encourage guests to unplug and enjoy the nature around.
Do rooms have private bathrooms?
Yes — all guest rooms at Shromantic Garden come with private ensuite bathrooms, featuring hot water, fresh towels, bed linens, and cozy blankets. The only exception is our new Forest Cabin, which offers a more remote, nature-immersed stay. It does not have a private bathroom, but guests can use the shared facilities in the main house, just under 100 meters away.
Do you have air conditioning or heating?
Yes — all private rooms in the main house have fans for summer and heaters or wood stoves for cooler months. Our White Room also features air conditioning for extra comfort on hot days.
Is breakfast included in the stay?
Yes — breakfast is always included when you book directly on our website.
Do you serve lunch and dinner?
Yes, we offer homemade vegetarian meals for lunch and dinner, made with seasonal, local ingredients.
Do you offer vegetarian or vegan options?
Always. Our kitchen is 100% vegetarian, and we’re happy to accommodate vegan and gluten-free diets on request.
Can you accommodate food allergies or dietary needs?
Yes — let us know in advance and we’ll do our best to adapt meals to your needs.
Are pets allowed?
We welcome friendly pets with prior notice. Please message us before booking.
Do you have animals on the property?
Yes! We live with 10 friendly cats and 4 dogs who love hanging out with guests.
Do you host yoga or wellness retreats?
Yes — we organize seasonal yoga and meditation retreats, and private bookings are welcome.
